Mrs. Murphy

Mrs. Murphy is a very dedicated teacher who is passionate about Science and helping her students. She conveys her vast knowledge of Science through creating interesting lessons and hands-on activities to stimulate student thinking through research and investigation. Mrs. Murphy dedicates much of her own time during lunch and after hours to assure her students have an understanding of the lessons and to develop unique ways to awaken the scientist in each student. She also encourages students to not only be better scientists, but also to be better people by incorporating character education into many of her lessons. Mrs. Murphy takes the time to know the students personally and academically and encourages each student to rise up to face whatever challenges come along and to handle each challenge gracefully- Mrs. Liedka
